Loc8MeNow app for iPhone and iPad

WARNING this app uses background geolocation tracking which may drain battery resources from your phone. Loc8MeNow is an app designed to help you protect your family and friends using background location if required using our Where Are You? feature. Young children and/or adults can be automatically tracked if they so wish with their location being shown on a map.

Additional functionality includes Follow Me Now that a user can initiate themselves so that others are alerted to by a notification and distinctive sound on their phone. Their locations are recorded and shown on a map as they walk home after a night out etc, even though they originally opted out of the Where Are You? feature. Once the person safely arrives at their destination they stop Follow Me Now from their own phone.

Help Me Now is another feature whereby a user requests immediate help from others in their group. A distinctive sound is played on their peers mobiles, alerting them that someone requires urgent help. The location is once again shown on a map until the Help Me Now alert is stopped by a peer.
